One Carbon - promoting healthy brain aging through probiotics, a supplement built from years of neuroscience research at the University of Cambridge.
Foveo Fertility - developing a breakthrough in the oocyte retrieval and selection process, technology to ensure egg cells are kept at a physiological temperature at all times, whilst bringing a workflow improvement to the IVF lab too.

Beata Maria Rzepecka is a British visual artist and curator, born in Poland in 1984 and based in London. Over nearly two decades, she has made significant contributions to the UK's creative landscape through a multidisciplinary practice that bridges art, science, tech, and philosophy. In 2008, she completed an ABC Diploma in Image Production at the University of the Arts London, London College of Communication.
She continued her academic - development at Goldsmiths, University of London, where she began exploring the intersection of art and medicine in 2010. In 2011, she earned an MA in Image and Communication under the mentorship of Nigel Perkins. Her work has been presented in a wide range of exhibitions and science festivals, including collaborations with Queen Mary University of London and charitable initiatives with Guy's and St Thomas' Charity.
Her installations have engaged audiences across London, captivating visitors through an innovative fusion of interactivity and artistic expression. The installation Universal Heartbeat was reviewed in The Pharmaceutical Journal, published by the Royal Pharmaceutical Society. In 2024, Lucid Dreams was featured in Personal Structures during the Venice Biennale. BONES, the latest series of holographic art, has been exhibited twice in 2026 in collaboration with Hilton, and will be presented at Venture Café London this September.

Shamik is a Founding Partner at Havilland Active Ventures. Shamik has invested in tech companies spanning healthcare, AI and cybersecurity across Europe, Israel, North America and India. Shamik’s focus at Havilland is sourcing and backing category-defining businesses solving large, complex healthcare challenges.
Shamik joins after spending four years on the investment team at Octopus Ventures, one of Europe's leading venture capital funds with more than £2bn AUM. During his time at Octopus, Shamik identified and supported high-growth healthtech companies from initial capital through to commercial scaling.
Dr Chrysi Sergaki is the Founder and CEO of XX innovation, a non-profit organisation focused on turning evidence into outcomes for women’s health. Through XX innovation, she is applying her experience in research, regulation, innovation translation, policy and cross-sector partnership-building to women's health, with a focus on strengthening the systems and relationships needed to move evidence and innovation into practice at scale.
Chrysi is also Head of Partnerships within Enterprise at Imperial College London, where she oversees a multimillion-pound portfolio of industrial partnerships, working at the interface between research and translation.
Prior to founding XX innovation, Chrysi spent 7 years at the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA), where she led the Microbiome team. Her work spanned product R&D, standardisation, fundamental research, clinical trials, regulatory guidance and the implementation of rapid diagnostics in the NHS. She has also led global and cross-sector initiatives involving partners across academia, industry, government and healthcare, including collaborative studies with the World Health Organization.
A biologist by background, Chrysi completed her PhD in Life Sciences at the University of Warwick.
Vandana Subramanian is a healthcare investor and two-time exited oncology founder with 22 years of experience building, scaling and investing in healthcare, diagnostics, precision medicine and life sciences businesses across the UK, Europe, India and the United States.
As a founder and executive leader, she has built and scaled businesses spanning oncology diagnostics, therapeutics and healthcare innovation, working across clinical, commercial and investment ecosystems. Her experience combines company creation, commercial scale-up, fundraising, strategic transactions and venture investing.
Today, Vandana focuses on healthcare investing, supporting founders and investment platforms across healthcare, life sciences, diagnostics, women’s health and healthcare AI. Through Rainmatter and THENA Capital, she contributes to investment strategy, company evaluation, portfolio value creation and ecosystem development across the UK, Europe and India.
