Quantum Leap: The Path to Commercialisation
Jun 18, 2026, 6:00 PM - 9:00 PM GMT+1

📍 1 Triton Square, London NW1 3BF

Nexus, in collaboration with Venture Café London, is hosting an event that addresses a central challenge in the quantum ecosystem: the science is accelerating, but commercialisation is where the market is actually won. As quantum hardware matures and critical software layers become deployable, the question is no longer if quantum computing will disrupt enterprise, but who is positioned to capture its massive economic value.

The UK and global ecosystems possess world-class lab talent and deep-tech research, yet the gap between academic breakthroughs and scalable, enterprise-ready products remains the industry's biggest bottleneck. Moving beyond the hype of this next technological wave will depend on our ability to build an innovation pipeline, that translates raw, pre-spinout tech into globally competitive companies.

Anchoring London Quantum Week, this showcase brings together investors, deep-tech founders, and enterprise end-users to cut through the noise and force real cross-sector deal-making. Featuring live tech demonstrations from quantum startups the event will provide a definitive look at what is actually fundable and deployable today. Bridging the gap between raw science and physical reality, the evening will also featureartist Ricardo Mondragon, displaying his physical sculptures inspired by quantum wave frequencies.

Join us to be part of the conversation, cut through the hype, and actively drive the next phase of quantum commercialisation.

Liam Callebout
Freelance Illustrator & Art Director

Liam Callebout is a London-based illustrator, live scribe and animator whose work brings ideas, events, and complex topics to life through visual storytelling. He specialises in ideation, storytelling, and cultural commentary, creating illustrations that do more than decorate, they communicate ideas, evoke emotion, and make abstract or dense content accessible. One of his primary strengths is live scribing, capturing events, lectures, workshops, and conferences in real time through visuals that reflect the flow of discussion, highlight key themes, and preserve the energy of live conversation. His clients have ranged across sectors: from academics and researchers to charities, businesses, and government institutions. Whether it’s distilling a conference dialogue into a single striking image, crafting a flowing animation that explains a sustainability proposal, or generating illustrations that speak to cultural or social issues, Liam’s work bridges the gap between content and clarity, turning spoken or written ideas into vivid, memorable art.
