This is an accelerator for investors where 24 teams of 2 people have been competing across 3 rounds since May by conducting analysis and due diligence on a startup of their choice. The final 3 teams will present to a live audience of judges, investors, and ecosystem leaders at our Thursday Gathering.

In this fun, highly interactive workshop, you'll borrow techniques from the world of acting to build confidence, improve communication and think on your feet. Through energising warm-ups, group exercises and creative performance challenges, you'll develop skills that translate directly to pitching, networking, presenting and collaborating - no acting experience required!

Elena Christie is a professional actor, facilitator and Senior Creative Producer with a passion for helping people communicate with confidence through the principles of performance.
A First Class BA (Hons) graduate in Professional Musical Theatre from The Urdang Academy, one of the UK's leading performing arts conservatoires, Elena trained extensively in acting, voice, movement and musical theatre, developing expertise in storytelling, stage presence and audience engagement.
Since graduating, Elena has built a successful professional performing career, appearing in productions across the UK and Ireland including Little Miss Sunshine, The Grinch Who Stole Christmas and Friends! The Musical Parody, alongside concerts, workshops and live events. Her experience spans theatre, comedy and improvisation, giving her a deep understanding of communication, collaboration, confidence and thinking creatively under pressure.
Alongside her performing career, Elena works as a Senior Creative Producer, leading creative projects, delivering immersive events, presentations, facilitating workshops, talks and collaborating with stakeholders across the corporate sector. Drawing on both industries, Elena designs and delivers highly interactive acting masterclasses and performance based communication workshops that translate actor training into practical workplace skills. Using techniques from theatre, improvisation, storytelling and performance, she helps individuals develop confidence, strengthen their presentation skills, think on their feet and build executive presence. Her engaging, practical sessions empower participants to create more meaningful connections with colleagues, clients and audiences, leaving them with skills they can apply immediately.

Dr. Meenakshi Jhala is a Medical Doctor, NIHR Academic and Co-Founder of Tiny Ventures. Focused on widening access, pushing innovation and helping humans live their healthiest lives, she is the Managing Partner of Dx Capital, a clinician-led angel syndicate which invests in core healthcare solutions. Meenakshi is on the Editorial Board of BMJ Innovations, educates on Digital Health and is associated with King’s College London for her research on LLMs.

Samuel Thurman is a junior venture capital investor and Co-Founder of Tiny Ventures, with experience across Atomico, Eurazeo, FuturePresent, and two angel syndicates. Prior to venture, he built a foundation in corporate finance and pension fund management at Corbett Keeling and the Universities Superannuation Scheme. He holds a PPE degree from the University of York, where he was awarded a Laidlaw Scholarship. Samuel is committed to raising the standard of early-stage investing in Europe and to broadening access to the industry for the next generation of investors.
